Fiesta VoxBox || Influenster

Happy Labor day to all my American followers🔴⚪️🔵

Hey beauties, so i’m sure you’ve all heard about the famous “Influenster“website that everyone’s raving about now a days. If you haven’t it’s ok but I totally recommend you to check it out! All you do is review products of any kind to earn badges, respond to people’s questions and get recognized by influenster to receive the monthly box of different products as a campaign to review with a to-do list.

In August, I received the Fiesta VoxBox (for complimentary testing and reviewing purposes) and I was super excited because I didn’t even get an email, I just opened my mailbox and there was the box. I after got an email to “check in” my box and a to-do list (which I haven’t started) hehehe.. But here I am, to show you what I received & what I have actually used up till now.

  • Suave Skin Solutions $2.29 (10 oz)
  • Noº7 Beautiful Skin Normal/Oily Night Cream $14.99
  • Premier Protein Bar $1.99
  • New York Color’s Smooth Skin Bronzer $2.99
  • Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner $2.99 (travel size)

  • Arnold/Brownberry/Oroweat Healthful Bread up to $5.00 off
  • Free Daisy Sour Cream
  • Free Bloomin’ Onion Outback Steakhouse

The New York Color’s Smooth Skin Bronzer had super soft texture, nice pigment and such cute design in it with their traditional packaging but it’s waaaaay to light for my skin tone so, i’ll probably save it for a future giveaway I have planned. STAY TUNED!!
Not Your Mother’s hair products I heard are super awesome and moisturizing but i’m not really into trying hair products because of my sensitive scalp. I am saving them for my giveaway though! THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME!!!!!!! ugh i’ve been using it ever since the day I got it every night right after cleansing. It claims to “energize and promote optimum hydration for healthy radiant skin”. I do agree with this, it has made my face look brighter and sort of even toned not with all the color patches I usually have around my cheeks. It is Hypo-allergenic and normal/dry skin which i’m oily but this didn’t seem to make me oily unless I didn’t cleanse in the morning. Totally recommend!!!!

I still haven’t tried out the Protein Bar but I will this week, If you want some info on it just let me know 🙂

Hope you guys enjoyed ☺️

First Impression

Happy Saturday my fellow bloggers!

My Saturday has been full on relax, TV & food since its been gloomy and ready to pour here in Orlando ⛅️

So, I decided I’d make a post about a little gift I received yesterday…..I was super excited to try out the Physicians formula organic wear CC mascara “ultra black” on my Asian lashes. The packaging claims to curl + care at the same time with 100% natural origin, 70% organic plus a 24 hour wear.

~These are my eyelashes after giving them a curl before mascara *Excuse my hideous eyebrows I’ve been trying to grow them out a little*. Once I opened the bottle, the scent of green tea just smacked me in the face, it was sort of refreshing.
~This is after one coat of the mascara. The second I opened the bottle, the scent of green tea just smacked me in the face, it was sort of refreshing. The application was pretty simple with the curved silicone brush, it does separate your lashes really well. The formula is not wet but not dry either. I was pretty impressed with it because my curl didn’t flop down automatically but it did sting for some odd reason on my lash line. The color does make my eye look brighter, awake, and more defined.

~This is after the second coat, which I regret because they started to stick together and I had to use a comb to separate them. I was still very impressed with how well my curl was held. After a couple of minutes I did notice they weren’t drying and sort of just got sticky so if you rub your eye the lashes will get stuck together.

In conclusion, I was impressed with how my curl was held, how defined my lashes looked, and that it didn’t have any clumps but I didn’t like the formula at all. It made my eye burn and it just never dried, it continued to stay sticky. I would recommend only using one coat because they look natural and not stuck together.

Hope you guys enjoyed!

Friday gifts

 Good afternoon! TGIF😆

I kept my promise of trying super hard to blog on Fridays and Saturdays so here I am.

As I was walking home from the bus stop i spotted the mail man & wondered if I had anything waiting for me…i opened the mail box & BAMM a package!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much melissa meets makeup for your magic hat that chose my name for the giveaway 💗

Let’s begin!

On this lovely Friday & first week of school finally over!!!! I received 2 products from this giveaway.

  • Rimmel London Provocalips 16hr lip color in 200 “I’ll call you”

It was love at first sight for sure. I really liked the application brushes because it’s different from what I own & that it comes with 2 sides, one being the color and the other being step 2 “lock & shine” I sort of already tried it out that’s why the lock & shine looks weird but it’s originally clear and the product has a Vaseline like texture to it. The color is a little liquidy but it dries nicely and not too matte. It’s definitely perfect for the spring time! Later on I’ll try it out and see how long it actually lasts since it claims to be “16hr”

  • Physicians formula organic wear CC mascara in “ultra black”

This mascara, i’m super excited to try out mostly because it claims to curl and care at the same time. I’m not really sure if it’s waterproof but I really hope so cause I have Asian lashes and can’t use anything other than waterproof. I’m planning a review for this so i’ll stay quiet and not spoil anything…..

Thanks for reading & hope you enjoyed! Have a makeup filled weekend 😝

Makeup Storage

Makeup storage

Good afternoon lovies hope you’re having a great weekend!!☀️☀️

This post was inspired by a lovely trip I took to Bj’s wholesale Thursday afternoon where I spotted the cutest and very much needed makeup storage ever!!!! I could not take my eyes off of it nor leave the store without it. Guess what’s even better? The price being only $15 for that much storage.

  • Nifty Makeup Carousel $14.99

So, this is what it looks like with all my makeup in it, it’s very easy to move around and grab things. Something really cool about is that it spins around hence the name “carousel”. At Bj’s they had it in silver and a minty color. I noticed that they don’t sell it on the Bj’s website so you can purchase it at your local Bj’s or another website here in 6 different colors. What I loved about this is the amount of space it has for literally everything! In the middle if you have long handle brushes you can place them there. Also, the style of it is modern and looks super classy anywhere you want to place it. My previous makeup storage was a makeup bag and a box 😦 it was impossible to find anything in there. Talk about UPGRADE!!

Changing subjects really quick…. I start my senior year of high-school on Monday! I’m really nervous but anxious to finally leave and move on to the real life and independance. It’s a new school for me cause I just moved to Orlando so I have literally no friends but my cousin who has the same exact name as me “Paula Suarez”. Being hispanics we also have a middle name and an extra last name so that’s the only difference. Sadly, we only have one class together not even lunch 😦  Wish me luck please!!!

Thanks for reading & hope you enjoyed!!

Blogging Essentials

blogging essentials

Good afternoon beauties!! ☀️

It’s a sunny day today in Orlando so I thought I would get in a blog before going out😊 Todays post is about my blogging essentials (I am not trying to brag for any reason, these items are things I’ve accumulated over the years as gifts)

Let’s begin!

  • Canon EOS rebel T3 12.2 mp

2 years ago I thought it was a great idea to ask for a camera for my 15th birthday just because everyone had one blah blah blah.. Worst mistake ever till now, only because I used it probably 4 times prior to starting my blog.. No you don’t necessarily need this but if you want good focus & more professional pictures on your blog it’s a good choice. It’s not a brand new 2015 camera but it does still work as good as the new ones. If you’re interested in getting a camera I would suggest this one, in the link it’s more expensive because of a lens it comes with which I don’t recommend yet. FullSizeRender copy 2

  • Forever 21 Hello Kitty notepad

My dear sister got me a 2 pack of these notepads for my 16th birthday and I never wanted to use them because they were soooo cute! But now I decided to since they were small, travel sized and sort of personal. I keep all my ideas & dates written down as reminders and memories 😊

  • Green water bottle Dollar Tree

Who doesn’t love an afternoon trip to the dollar store???? I can go there everyday & leave the store with a bunch of unnecessary things. I can’t be the only one right? On those long editing days you gotta stay hydrated for extra energy & brain flow.

  • iPhone 6

A phone is extremely important for me & blogging because you can blog, edit pics, receive updates, most importantly SOCIAL MEDIA😍and check out other bloggers on the go. Doesn’t HAVE to be an iPhone but something in the same range ya know??

  • Dark chocolate “choceur”

Obviously I had to leave the best for last. A late night snack for long editing nights/days where you can’t even leave your room because you might wake the rest of your family. I purchased this at my local ALDI super market yesterday for $1.20 & let me tell you it’s DELICIOUS❗️❗️

Well my fellow readers that’s it for today💋 If you have any requests or ideas please let me know!!!!

ulta haul edit

Happy Wednesday & National lipstick day!💄☀️

Im back after a month full of doubts and regrets😔 How have you guys been? I’ve been ok, enjoying the last bit of my summer break before I start the most exciting year left -SENIOR YEAR!!!!- So, because of that I did some retail therapy over at my favorite place Ulta because I have my senior portraits soon and i decided to do my own makeup. What’s even better was that most of their makeup lines were buy one get one 50% off!!!!!! Obviously I had to splurge💁🏽

Ps- I have not tried these products on my skin yet except the moisturizer. Also, the prices on this haul are without the discount Each product Below $15 originally!!

(posting reviews soon)

  • NYX HD Concealer Photogenic in CW 06 “Glow”  $4.99

What really caught my attention was the fact it said “HD” and “photogenic”. Ive heard a lot of good reviews about this concealer as it was being compared to the Makeup Forever HD concealer so I decided to give this one a try because it was on the cheaper side. Funny story though, I bought this previously twice in the wrong shades which led to awkward returns and purchases at the same store with the same workers 3 times in one week😂🙈

eyeliner WP

  • NYX Retractable Eyeliner WaterProof in MPE02 “Black” $4.49

I didn’t really do any research on this product really because I needed to restock on eyeliner. It sort of intrigued me though because of its price so I said what the heck..

  • NYC Smooth Skin loose face powder in 741A “Translucent” $2.79

One lovely day, I was on youtube watching makeup reviews and one popped up for this product. Let’s just say I fell in love with how flawless and smooth the youtubers face looked that I had to buy it THAT day. ( EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!!!) So, I did. Disappointing part though,  I don’t really like the packaging because every time I open it some of the powder falls 😔

  • NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors in 565 $3.99

I just realized that they don’t have a name for their lipstick…that’s odd…Anyways, as you can tell i’m a little tan and choosing lip colors is really hard for me but this one OMG I can’t believe how natural looking and beautiful it looks! I can’t wait to try it! By the swatch I could tell how buttery it was & pigmented so thats a plus.

  • NYX Natural Shadow Palette $7.49

For this palette, I did do some research because its for my senior portrairs and I wanted to look as natural as possible. It did look awesome when the youtubers reviewed/demoed it. I’m sort of disappointed though 😦 As you can see below, they aren’t as pigmented and feel a little chalky. I havent played with this palette yet, so I really don’t know how well they work out & blend.

What I did enjoy though is that you can create 2 looks: Day & Night!

  • ULTA Double Duty wet&Dry pressed powder foundation in “Warm Tan” $12.50

This product is by far my favorite, the texture is so soft and sort of buttery but sort of not.. You get me?? What I love about Ulta is that you can swatch products except the drugstore brands. When I swatched this on my jawline it looked so natural my mom didn’t even notice I was wearing anything. This is definitely not for my senior portrait makeup but for sure an everyday school necessity. Even better it was on sale for 5 fricking dollars!! FIVEEEEEE

  • Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer $5.29

Ive been on the hunt for a good but not oily moisturizer & let me tell you I AM IN LOVE!!!! It claims to say “moisturizes dry skin, treats & helps prevent pimples” let me tell you that in fact  it does do everything it says. I say this because it’s almost that time of month and i’ve been using this for about 2 weeks and usually i get a couple pimples near my nose but this month NOTHING, not even a slight red mark NOTHING!!!!

I forgot to include these bad boys in the Ulta haul image but better late than never! Am I right ladies???😂IMG_5798IMG_5671

  • ULTA nail laqcuer (left to right) X-DRY, DARK DENIM, & BASECOAT $6 each

Ugh, indescribable how much I love this color on my tan skin! Clearly matched my bed comforter hahaha. The x-dry and basecoat made the nail laqcuer last about 2 weeks with 2 coats of the dark denim, which was impressive because I volunteer at an animal clinic so i’m always cleaning & scrubbing. Each of these were on sale for $2

Well ladies what’d ya think for a comeback??? If you want a full review on a certain product mentioned, please let me know! ☺️

Thanks for reading & have an amazing Wednesday/ National lipstick day!

Does this “FIT me”?

Good evening followers💟

So, as you all know I have oily skin that’s hard to work with during this summer heat. I decided to try out this FIT me foundation by Maybelline shade 310 “sun beige” to see how long it lasts without making my face oily. The bottle says for normal to oily skin so let’s wait & see!

IMG_2140Featured image

I started off by cleansing my face with the “morning burst” face wash that I mentioned in my last post. Next I mixed a little bit of day cream from Dermasil with the Stay Matte Primer by RIMMEL. I applied the foundation with a damp sponge to avoid streaky lines.

I set the foundation with the FIT me powder in 130 “buff beige” and a kabuki brush from elf (which is amazing!)

This is the finished look, which in my opinion looks pretty good for my oily skin..for

4 hours later…..

I know it’s a bad picture it was taken with my front camera. This is after 5 hours of shopping, walking around outside, and lunch. I did have to use a blotting sheet about 2 hours after application, as you can tell my t-zone is a little shiny mostly my forehead but it stayed matte without having to apply powder during my time out nor did it smudge everywhere. Didn’t do such a bad job I’m actually impressed! I would say this “FIT me” & is a great summer foundation for oily skin. Definitely recommend this 8/10

Thanks for reading🌸

Products I also used
